This website is operated for STRAYLA by Positive Group Holdings Pty Ltd. You can read the journal and play the slang challenge without giving us your email address. Your quiz score is temporary and disappears when the page is reloaded.

Payments and orders

When ordering is enabled, Stripe will collect payment and delivery information through its hosted checkout. This website does not collect or store card numbers. The order record here contains an order reference, amount, payment status and payment-provider reference. The delivery and payment details are handled through the payment service.

Updates are your choice

Buying a book will not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. Trial signup is limited to nominated test addresses. We store the email address, consent version and time, confirmation and unsubscribe status, and email delivery receipts. Confirming a signup requests one welcome email. Resend processes these messages when enabled. Unsubscribing stops further trial emails; a suppression record prevents accidental resubscription.

Running the website

Our hosting and payment providers process technical information needed to run their services. Checkout abuse controls retain a short-lived, hashed counter rather than the original network address. No advertising trackers have been added. A campaign reference in a link can associate a trial signup or order with a Marketing Manager publication. Aggregate results distinguish test payments from real sales.
